Dear Parents, July 5, 2021

THANK YOU...Thanks for allowing us to spend some special time with your child. We love to prepare for special occasions like this because of the awesome impact just one small event can have on the life of an Extreme Kid. We are excited to have a few days to focus on confidence! We can have CONFIDENCE in Him and His promises, even during the craziest of times. We will be exploring how confidence is learning to see ourselves the way God sees us!

During our WIRED Preteen Lock-In we will be focusing on four key points:

- You can be confident because God Loves You. God’s plan is the BEST plan.

God can use YOU no matter what.

God can do the impossible!

We want to make certain that no child leaves without a life-changing encounter with Christ. Our church leaders and volunteers will spend this time helping kids understand God has a redemptive plan for us all and He desires a relationship with each of us. Because of this relationship with Christ, we can have confidence in ourselves knowing that He loves us and has a plan for each of our lives. With that being said, we want to ensure you that we will be taking all necessary safety measures to keep your child as safe as possible, during this special time of fellowship with their friends. As a precaution, we ask that if your child has been feeling ill over the last 72 hours or has been in contact with anyone with Covid-19 symptoms, please refrain from sending them for the protection of the other attendees.

We have enclosed in this packet some additional information where you will find a list of items to bring, as well as some items we ask that students DO NOT BRING. For the safety and attention of all students in attendance, please make sure no electronics are packed in your child’s bag. We will allow special time for calling home or phone time, but this will be kept to a minimum.

The schedule and parent cue cards will be available at drop off, we hope that your family will follow along with us in this CONFIDENCE journey.

Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. (386) 362-1120 church office or cell (386) 209-4007.

In Christ,

Meredith Davis, Children’s Ministry Director Westwood Baptist Church
